The interest of the FRINGIA Company lies in the reconstruction and presentation of the Middle Europe martial arts, which were developed from early 15th to 19th century.
Main focus is given on sabre fencing, as the sabre was the most typical and versatile weapon of our region.
The Company is also interested in historical European dances – we thus give a complex overview of everyday life of both the lower and higher nobility of Middle Europe region.
A great deal of our efforts is devoted to the study of history. Special attention is paid to the authenticity of the material culture as seen during the presentations – authentic replicas of the costumes, weapons and equipment, everything is based on the contemporary literature sources and pieces of art.
